Where do we store your data?

  • The data collected will be stored with datacentersin physical servers located in Brazil and virtual clouds located abroad.

 

Is there an international transfer of your data?

  • Yes, there will be an international transfer of data for the purpose of storing information in a cloud environment. MPL manages the providers of these services, assessing whether have an adequate level of personal data protection.
  •  MPL also establishes mechanisms to guarantee the legality of the International Transfer of Personal Data, following the guidelines of art. 33 of the LGPD and regulations issued by the ANPD.

What precautions do we take with information security?

  • MPL adopts forms of information security management and strict information protection controls, following the recommendations of national and international Information Security standards, such as NBR ISO/IEC 27000, among other standards and good market practices, requiring its suppliers to guarantee the same or a higher level of security for the data stored in their databases.

 

How long does MPL use and store your data?

  • Your personal data will remain stored in MPL's database for legitimate and essential purposes, such as: 1) the existence of a specific law or regulation requiring a specific period for data retention; e 2) for security purposes, fraud control and preservation of rights.
  • We will keep a record of the data subject's data, guaranteeing its exclusive use by MPL and the companies it hires to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, in addition to preserving the security of such information and other legitimate interests, in accordance with art. 10 of the LGPD.

What about children's data? 

  • The MPL website is aimed at and intended for use only by people aged 18 or over. We do not target advertisements at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from persons under the age of 18.
  • There may be internal MPL processes where the data of children and adolescents is processed, which will always be carried out with respect for the best interests of the minor, in an ethical manner, observing the Statute of the Child and Adolescent, and with the consent of at least one parent or legal guardian, as established in art. 14 of the LGPD.
