22 Apr Developing without developers
At the beginning of the month, on the 8th, the Suporte-fix workshop was held on the theme of Using Nested Logic Extensions. It was a continuation of the previous workshop (Call Logic Extensions Directly from a Form Extension).
Recalling the previous topic... the Logic Extensions is an essential component of the JD Edwards multi-application framework. It allows non-technical business analysts to use a familiar Oracle EnterpriseOne event rule syntax to create logic without the need for development.
O Logic Extensions provides a "code-free" way to perform various operations such as string manipulation, arithmetic calculations, logical conditions, loops and much more.
As of Tools Release 9.2.7.3, it is possible to create Logic Extensions by calling other Logic Extensions, thus enabling a common programming pattern in which code snippets are created as reusable objects.
