30 Nov Another Successful Project: Transport Management at Ampacet
Ampacet Corporation is a company that advances the future of plastics by bringing innovative solutions to its customers. Founded in 1937, Ampacet operates 25 factories in 18 countries, with four research and development centers and sells its products in more than 90 countries.
In June/2022, Ampacet Brasil started the implementation of the JD Edwards Version 9.2 Transportation Management System (TMS) Project.
The Project had its GO LIVE in October/2022, without requiring changes in the product's core applications.

“The decisive factor in choosing MPL was the level of detail presented, giving greater confidence, as the main concern was having a GO LIVE without restrictions and interruptions in billing.
The management of the project was very professional with weekly follow-up meetings with the leadership team. The consultant in charge was very in tune with the Key Users, making the conduction of the project “smooth”. As expected, GO LIVE was very well conducted and without restrictions. We were a few hours without billing, fully mitigated with advance planning.
The implementation of the JD Edwards TMS brought a significant improvement in the accuracy of information, and also allowed for better planning of loads, greater efficiency in hiring and cost reduction.
The System also has several dashboards that will help in the analysis of KPIs for managing operations and finances.”
