Larry Ellison, Oracle Chairman and CTO, recently shared his vision for the future of JD Edwards and the Cloud environment, highlighting a transformation for the next few years.
For ERP users it is foreseeable that this transition process will be gradual. In Ellison's words: “You can't implement the Cloud framework and overlay it on top of other environments. We already see a clear trend of new possibilities with HCM, EPM, Finance and Procurement Cloud modules, the idea is that our customers start with just one of our Cloud products, and their companies participate in a learning curve, until they have a full integration.”
