Always with news for our JD Edwards customers

The support-fix continues on its mission to increase its knowledge of their clients when using the system Oracle JD Edwards Enterprise One.

The theme of the last workshop was "Allow Inventory Location to be Put on Hold".

This is a new feature introduced in Release 24, where Availability and Stock Movement are now controlled by Site Status, instead of only by Batch Status.

This allows companies to partially block a batch so that it is not moved, making batch control more flexible to the particularities of the business in which the company operates.

Some segments in industry will benefit from this new feature, as some regulatory bodies block samples of manufactured batches for future reference.

In receiving, it is relevant in cases where the batch received is partially accepted or where we have to receive it in full before returning the rejected quantity.
