11 June MPL CORPORATE SOFTWARE SA celebrates its 30 years of operation
Celebrating 30 years of operation in such an innovative and competitive market as Information Technology deserves to be greatly celebrated.
It was a long walk to the present day. Founded by two entrepreneurs who made their careers in companies with recognized performance in technological innovation in the 70's and 80's (EMBRATEL and DATAMEC), MPL has today become a reference company in the IT segment. Mário Pinto da Luz and Walter Taveira capitalized on the company with the acquisition of 3 tables, a few chairs, two “powerful” CP 500s and an innovative PC. Thus, MPL was born, on Avenida Almirante Barroso, in downtown Rio de Janeiro, our first headquarters.
At that time, companies were taking their first steps in internal computerization, present only in large and multinational companies. The others hired Bureau of Data Processing Services such as DATAMEC for processing large-volume data systems.
Having since its beginnings a firm determination to bring innovation to its customers, MPL has helped dozens of companies to create strategies for their information systems, developing IT Master Plans, the name used at the time for Information Systems Plan. For most of these customers, MPL has developed systems that have made it possible to obtain competitive advantages in their fields of activity, either by optimizing the resources employed or by designing applications that have resulted in an improvement in the experience with its customers and suppliers. Looking at the tunnel of time, MPL has been following the evolution of Information Technology, employing for each client and for each business requirement, the vanguard of solutions in Mainframes, Mini-Computers, PC Local Area Networks, Server Clients, ERP, Internet , Mobile and IoT (Internet of Things).
