23 Jun EFD-REINF - New Layout 2.1.2
As of September 2023, the new version EFD-REINF – Layout 2.1.2 will come into force, making the current version obsolete.
In addition to considering tax withholdings for foreign suppliers, several records were modified in relation to the previous version.
For Events R-4010 and R-4020, in addition to adapting the information to the new layout, 3 new tags were included;
For Event R-4080, the same changes as previous events, considering 1 new tag included;
And for several other Events, the layout of the XML to be delivered was modified.
How JD Edwards Customers Should Comply
In order for JD Edwards customers to adapt to these new changes, in addition to changing any existing interfaces with specialist tax systems, or modifying the programs that generate the XML file, it will also be necessary to make changes to the Tax Withholding Calculation programs, to that foreign suppliers are considered by current programs.
Although the new version 2.1.2 was officially released on 03/16/2023, only recently did the manual with all the filling instructions, necessary validations and new layouts become available at the Federal Revenue Service.
